NextTripLabs Privacy Policy

NextTripLabs (“we”, “our”) is operated by Media Solution Works LLC. This policy describes what we collect, why, and your choices, for the NextTripLabs iOS app and nexttriplabs.com.

What we collect

Account information

When you create an account: your email address and, if you use Sign in with Apple, the name/email Apple shares (you may hide your email; Apple’s private relay is supported). Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and never stored by us in readable form.

Content you create

Trips, itineraries, lists, contacts you add (names, emails, phone numbers you enter), traveler profile preferences, and notes. Contact entries you add are stored to support your trip planning only; we never contact those people or access your device’s address book.

Purchase information

Purchases are processed by Apple. We receive purchase receipts/entitlements (not your payment details) to unlock the content you bought and to restore purchases.

Usage data

Aggregate analytics events (e.g. a guide was viewed, a trip was created) via Vercel Analytics, used to understand feature usage. We do not sell data or use third-party advertising.

Location

Only if you grant location permission, and only while using the map; we do not store a location history.

Microphone

Only if you use voice input to describe a trip idea; audio is transcribed on-device to text and the audio is not stored.

Guest use

You can browse free guides without an account. Guest preferences are stored only on your device until you create an account.

How we use information

To provide the service (sync your trips and purchases across sign-ins), to enforce plan limits, to improve the product via aggregate usage data, and to send account emails (confirmation, password reset). Marketing email only with your separate consent, managed through our email provider (Kit), with unsubscribe in every message.

Sharing

Service providers only, as processors: Supabase (accounts + your content), Apple (purchases), Vercel (hosting + analytics), Sanity (editorial content delivery), Resend (transactional email), Kit (marketing email, if opted in). No sale of personal data; no data brokers; no advertising networks.

Retention & deletion

Your content persists while your account is active. You can delete your account in Settings, which permanently deletes your account data, and export your data from Settings. Deleted trips are recoverable for a limited period, then removed.

Security

Transport encryption (TLS) everywhere; row-level security so only you can read your content; session tokens stored in the iOS Keychain.

Children

NextTripLabs is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to processing. Contact us to exercise them.
